Bridges Academy will teach towards the GED which is an American High School Equivalency Certificate. At the same time, students will be prepared to take the Indian High School Equivalency exams provided by NIOS (the National Institute of Open Studies). The General Educational Development (GED) tests are a group of five subject tests which, when passed, provide certification that the test taker has American or Canadian high school-level academic skills. More than 18 million people have passed the GED test so far. It is administered year-round at more than 3,400 testing centers worldwide. The GED Testing Service is a joint venture of the American Council on Education (www.acenet.edu) and is developed and administered by Pearson Education (www.pearsoned.com). The GED Certificate is recognized in all 50 states in USA. The GED is accepted by 97% of colleges and employers there. GED Services include help with college and career counseling.
Remedial Intensive English (4 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Main: English Reading, English Writing, Science, Math, Social Studies Also: Persian (Dari), Computer skills, Moral Education
Preparation for the GED exam (exam from USA which is equivalent to High School diploma)
Minimum age: Children younger than 12 years old will not be considered for admission
Entrance exam to enter grade 8, students must pass the “Key English Test” (KET). To enter grade 9, students must pass the “Preliminary English Test” (PET).
Both of these will be administered in-house at our office.
-Rs.8250 per quarter for Afghans and SAARC countries
-4 quarter payments per year
-Rs. 15000 per quarter for other foreigners.
-3 months’ tuition fees are due at the time of registration.
-Books: These will be chargeable separately
GED Exam Fees: will only be collected for those in Grade 12
who are preparing to take the GED tests.
